One thing’s for sure — you’re going to fall head over heels with our venue. Because this is a truly special place, somewhere wonderfully romantic where the words ‘I do’ will sound even more special.
Built in the 19th century as a Unitarian Chapel, Fazeley Studios has been thoughtfully renovated, blending the original Victorian architecture with a chic, contemporary style. What’s more, you’ll find us in the heart of Digbeth, Birmingham’s answer to London’s Shoreditch.
As soon as we saw Fazeley we knew it was the perfect space for us. The guests were stunned by the Grand gallery and how beautiful it was, and the Winter Garden was the perfect space to add colour in the form of flowers.
Digbeth is firmly back on the map. A manufacturing centre since the Middle Ages, it was the engine room of the Industrial Revolution. Today, many of the neighbourhood’s empty Victorian factory buildings are being repurposed and revitalised after sitting empty for decades. With its cobbled streets, old warehouses, hip eateries and dazzling street art, this buzzing corner of the city is the place to be.
Fazeley Studios is Digbeth through and through. The buildings were originally a Unitarian chapel and Sunday school designed by local architect George Ingall and opened in 1876, along with some 19th-century factory units. With its high skylighted ceilings, whitewashed walls and outsize windows, it makes for a light, bright and beautiful setting for marriages of all shapes and sizes.
Your wedding is all about you. An expression of your love and your taste. We’re here to make it just how you want it, down to the last flower petal.
We’re fully licensed to hold civil ceremonies in Studio 7, with its handsome exposed brick work, original chapel windows and wooden floors. Or maybe you’d prefer to say ‘I do’ in the spectacular Garden Room, with a blank-canvas feel, tall critall style windows and scenic courtyard views.
Afterwards, as you and your loved ones move on to an elegant drinks reception in the gorgeous Grand Gallery, you’ll barely be able to keep the smile off your face.
The place looked like something out of a magazine. Our Christmas wedding at Fazeley was the most incredible day ever. I have so many happy memories of this place. I would not change it for the world.
Our catering team are inspired and primed, ready to serve up a fantastic dining experience for you and your guests. From a sit-down, three-course wedding breakfast, to tempting tray canapés and savoury bites, the choice is yours. Take your pick from our ravishing range of set menus and please let us know if you have any special dietary needs.
When the feast is done, it’s time to get down and boogie the night away. We have room for live bands or DJ sets, so you can be sure the soundtrack to your party is going to groove.
Fazeley Studios is licensed until midnight but if you ask nicely, we can apply for an extension until 1am.
Whether you want a traditional top-hat-and-tails affair, or have a more cool, contemporary style in mind, our dedicated, resourceful team will work with you to achieve perfection. Or if you have particular cultural or ceremonial wishes, we’ll do everything we can to meet these.
Afterwards, you can welcome friends and family to celebrate under the dramatic lighting of the Grand Gallery. With its striking beamed ceiling, arched windows, paneled-oak bar and comfortable seating, it’s the perfect setting for drinks receptions or informal gatherings.

Our range of wedding packages are based on a minimum of 50 day and evening guests with the option of increasing your guest numbers should you wish. We offer a wide range of catering options allowing you to create the perfect wedding to suit your budget
